Arunachal Pradesh PSC Recruitment 2025 – Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the official notification for Arunachal Engineering Service Examination 2025. The Government of Arunachal Pradesh invites eligible Indian citizens to apply online for 166 Assistant Engineer (AE) posts across various departments. The APPSC AE Recruitment 2025 online application process will begin at 5:00 PM on 15th May 2025 and remain active until 5:00 PM on 8th June 2025 on the official APPSC website.

Method of Selection – APPSC Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2025

The selection process for APPSC Assistant Engineer (AE) Recruitment 2025 will be conducted in two stages:

Written Main Examination
Eligible candidates must appear for the written mains examination as per the notification issued by the Department of Administrative Reforms, Government of Arunachal Pradesh (Notification No. AR-10/11/5/2025-SECT-I-AR dated 9th April 2025). The exam will cover the following subjects:

General Knowledge, Technical Paper (relevant engineering discipline) and General English or related subject as per syllabus guidelines

Viva-Voce / Interview

Candidates who qualify in the written examination will attend a Viva-Voce (interview) round conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).

The final merit list will be based on the combined performance in both the written examination and the interview.

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced the tentative schedule for the Arunachal Engineering Service Examination 2025 for the recruitment of 166 Assistant Engineers under various departments:

Recruitment Test (if applicable):
If the number of applications exceeds the desired ratio, the authorities will conduct a Recruitment Test (RT) on 27th July 2025 (Sunday) to shortlist candidates for the Mains Examination.

Written Main Examination (Mains):

The Arunachal Engineering Service Exam 2025 is tentatively scheduled for 6th and 7th September 2025, regardless of whether the Recruitment Test is conducted.

Application Fee – APPSC 166 Assistant Engineer Vacancies 2025

Candidates applying for the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Assistant Engineer (AE) posts under the Arunachal Engineering Service Examination 2025 must pay the application fee as per the following details:

(i) APST Candidates: Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred Fifty only)

(ii) Other Candidates: Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only)

(iii) PwD Candidates: Exempted from payment of the application fee as per Section 19 of the Arunachal Pradesh Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018.

(iv) Mode of Payment: Online mode only through the official APPSC website.
