High Court of Madras Job Notification 2025 – Selection Process

Candidates applying for Madras High Court Personal Assistant, Private Secretary, and Personal Clerk posts will be selected based on a four-stage recruitment process. The selection stages include a Common Written Examination, Skill Test, Viva voce and Certificate Verification.

Selection Procedure:

(i) Common Written Examination:
The Judicial Recruitment Cell, High Court of Madras, will conduct the written exam in Chennai and/or other designated locations. The exam tests candidates on basic knowledge, language skills, and job-related aptitude.

(ii) Skill Test:
Candidates who clear the written exam must appear for a Skill Test in Chennai. This stage assesses the practical abilities essential for the role.

(iii) Viva-Voce Details:
The Viva-voce round aims to evaluate a candidate’s overall suitability for the post. During the interview, the panel will assess the applicant’s language proficiency, vocabulary, mental alertness, attitude, ethics, character, grasping ability, and expertise in computer skills, among other traits. This stage carries a maximum of 15 marks, and candidates must secure at least 6 marks to qualify.

(iv) Certificate Verification:
In the final stage, shortlisted candidates must present their original documents for verification in Chennai.

Selected candidates for the posts of Personal Assistant, Private Secretary, and Personal Clerk under the Madras High Court Recruitment 2025 will be appointed at either the Principal Seat of the High Court in Chennai or the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court in Madurai.
