UPSC Recruitment 2023 – 71 Vacancies

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of Legal Officer, Scientific Officer, Deputy Architect and Other Various Posts. Eligible candidates can apply before 27-07-2023 (23:59 hrs).

UPSC Recruitment 2023 Details:-

Post Name and Pay Scale Vacancies Qualification and Experience 
Legal Officer
Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
02 (i) Degree in law from a recognized university.
(ii) Three years experience in the field of Legal Practice.
Scientific Officer (Chemical)
Level- 08 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
01 (i) Master Degree in Chemistry or Microbiology or Degree in Chemical Technology or Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
(ii) One year experience in an analytical or Chemical Testing Laboratory or Research & Development work or analysis of ores, Minerals, metals or Oil & Fuel and various Organic and Inorganic products or paint or polymer materials.
Deputy Architect
Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
53 (i) Possessing Degree in Architecture of recognized University or Institution.
(ii) Be registered as Architect with the Council of Architecture under Architect Act 1972(20 of 1972).
Scientist ‘B’ (Ballistics)
Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
01 (i) Masters degree in Physics or Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subjects during all the three years of Bachelor of Science from a recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Three years experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of Ballistics from a government recognized organization or institution
Scientist ‘B’ (Documents)
Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
06 (i) Master Degree in Chemistry or Physics or Forensic Science with Chemistry or Physics as one of the subjects during all the three years of Bachelor of Science from a recognized University or institute.
(ii) Three years experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of Documents Examination from a government recognized organization or institute.
Junior Scientific Officer (Toxicology)
Level- 07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
02 (i) Masters Degree in Chemistry or Associateship diploma of the Institution of Chemist by examination or Biochemistry or Pharmacology or Pharmacy or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects during all the three years of Bachelors of Science level from a recognized University.
(ii) Three years experience in research and analytical work in the field of Toxicology in any Central and State Organization or recognized institute or university or forensic Science laboratories under Central Government and State Government.
Assistant Director of Mines Safety (Occupational Health) Grade-I
Level- 11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
02 (i) A recognized Medical Qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 of the said Act.
(ii) A recognized Post Graduate Degree in Community Medicine with two years’ experience in the field of Occupational Health, preferably in factories or mines OR A recognized Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Health or Occupational Health or Public Health with three years’ experience in the field of Occupational Health, preferably in factories or mines.
Director General
Level- 17 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
01 (i) Master of Science in Geological Science or Master of Science (Technology) Geology or Master of Science in Geology or Integrated Master of Science in Applied Geology or Master of Technology (Geo-Exploration) or Master of Technology (Engineering Geology) or Master of Science (Marine Geology) or Master of Science in Earth Science and Resource Management or Master of Science in Oceanography and Coastal Areas Studies or Master of Science in Petroleum Geosciences course or Master of Science in Geochemistry from a recognized University; OR Master of Science in Physics or Applied Physics or Master of Science in Geophysics or Integrated Master of Science in Exploration Geophysics or Master of Science in Marine Geophysics or Master of Science (Tech.) in Applied Geophysics from Recognized University
(ii)Having thirty years’ of experience in Group ‘A’ post in Mineral Exploration or geological mapping or marine geology including research and development in the fields specified above, of which ten years shall be in a supervisory capacity OR Having thirty years of experience in Group ‘A’ post in Geophysical Mapping, Geophysical Exploration for mineral targeting, Marine Geophysics, Airborne Geophysics including Research and Development activities in the field specified above of which ten years should be in a supervisory capacity.
Administrative Officer
Level- 07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
03 (i) Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University.
(ii) Two years’ experience in Administration, Accounts and establishment, Legal or Vigilance matters in Central or State or Union Territory Government or Government Autonomous or Statutory Organisation or Central or State Public Sector Corporation or University.

UPSC Recruitment 2023: Age Limit

(i) Legal Officer, Deputy Architect, Scientist – 35 years
(ii) Scientific Officer (Chemical), Junior Scientific Officer, Administrative Officer- 30 years
(iii) Assistant Director of Mines Safety (Occupational Health) Grade-I – 40 years
(iv) Director General – 58 years

Application Fee and Mode of Payment:-

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash/ by using net banking facility of any bank/ by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment. Female/ SC/ ST/ PWD Candidates need not pay the application fee.

UPSC Recruitment 2023 How to Apply:-

Eligible candidates can Apply Online through the UPSC website. After submitting the Online Application, the candidates can take out a print out of the application with reference ID for future use.

Selection Procedure for UPSC Recruitment:-

Shortlisting candidates will be called for the Interview. The printout of the online application and the Original Certificates along with self attested copies are to be produced at the time of interview.
