The ICC World Cup 2023 began on October 5 and will end on November 19, 2023, in India. Here are the top five fastest bowlers in World Cup history, with the fastest 50 wickets.

Mitchell Starc (Australia) 19 innings 

Australia's Star became the fastest bowler in World Cup history to rack up 50 World Cup wickets in just 19 innings. He set the record during the first ODI World Cup 2023 match against India in Chennai.

Lasith Malinga (Sri Lanka) 25 innings 

Malinga, a former Sri Lankan bowler, completed his 50 World Cup wickets in 25 innings. During an ODI World Cup 2019 match against England, he hit the target.

Glenn McGrath (Australia) 30 innings 

Glenn McGrath of Australia set a target of 50 wickets in 30 innings against the Netherlands in an ODI World Cup match in 2007.
