Ajit Pawar swears in as Maharashtra's deputy chief minister

On July 2, NCP leader Ajit Pawar was sworn in as Maharashtra's deputy chief minister.

For the third time since 2019 Ajit Pawar took the oath of office as deputy CM.

Eight Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLAs joined the Eknath Shinde-led administration after him.

At Mumbai's Raj Bhavan, NCP leader Dilip Walse Patil was also sworn in as a minister.
