Twitter's current value is only 33% of what Elon Musk paid for it.

According to Fidelity, Twitter's worth has been reduced to one-third of what Elon Musk spent.

Musk acknowledged that he overpaid for Twitter when he paid $44 billion for it, including $33.5 billion in stock.

Musk has said that Twitter is only worth about 50% of his original investment.

Fidelity has repeatedly reduced the value of its Twitter holding; the most recent decrease was in November, to 44% of the original acquisition price.

Since Musk took over, Twitter has struggled financially, with advertising revenue falling by 50% as a result of debt and difficulties with content management.

Less than 1% of monthly users have subscribed to Twitter Blue, making attempts to recover lost money futile.
