Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professor (College Cadre) in various subjects in Higher Education Department, Haryana. Eligible candidates can fill the online application from 07-08-2024 to 27-08-2024.

| Educational Qualification | (a) Good academic record with a Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/ relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. (b) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in Higher Education. (c) A. The National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil / Ph.D Degree) Regulation, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. B. The Ph.D degree has been obtained from a. foreign university/ institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by’ any one of the following; (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of world Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jaio Tong University (Shanghai). |

How to Apply:-
Candidates are required to apply online on the website, http://hpsc.gov.in. After successful submission of application, candidates should take a print out of the application form.
Category wise Application Fees:-
The category wise application fee payable through Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit Card upto 05:00 PM of the Closing Date i.e. 14.08.2024
(i) For Male candidates of General category including Dependent Son of Ex-Serviceman of Haryana/ Backyard Classes belonging to Creamy Layer/ all categories of other States:- Rs.1000/-
(ii) For Female candidates of General category including Dependent Son of Ex-Serviceman of Haryana/ all categories of other States:- Rs.250/-
(iii) For Male & Female candidates of SC / BC-A / BC-B / ESM categories of Haryana only/ Economically Weaker Sections (EWS):- Rs.250/-
Notes:-
- Age relaxation will be given as per govt rules.
- Fees once paid shall not be refunded.
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
