All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Kalyani has released the notification for the recruitment of Senior Residents (Non-academic) on a tenure basis in various Departments. AIIMS, Kalyani will conduct Interviews in Hybrid Mode for the post of Senior Resident (Non-academic) to fill up the 121 Vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates can apply before 10.06.2023 at (01:00 PM)

121 | (a) A Post Graduation Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) or Equivalent in respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute as provided under the Residency Scheme. All the terms and conditions of the Residency Scheme will be applicable. (b) Candidates having MD/DNB in Pediatrics can apply for the post of Senior Resident in the Department of Pediatrics & Neonatology. (i) Candidates having MD/DNB in Medicine can apply for the post of Senior Residents in the Departments of Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology Medical Oncology, etc. (ii) Candidates having MS/DNB in General Surgery can also apply for the post of Senior Residents in the department of Neurosurgery, Pediatrics Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Urology, and Burns & Plastic Surgery, etc. (iii) Candidates having MD in Hospital Administration or Master’s in Hospital Administrations (full-time after MBBS) or DNB in Hospital Administrations can apply for the Senior Resident in Hospital Administrations post. |
Age Limit for Senior Resident:-
Candidates should not be exceeding 45 (Forty-Five) years as of the date of publishing this notification on the Institute website. Age relaxation to other categories of candidates will also be applicable as per the DoPT instructions.

Selection Procedure for Senior Resident:-
Based on the reporting, the Interview will be conducted after verifying the application and requisite documents of the candidates. The selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in the interview and will be held at the Administrative Building, 1st, floor, Committee Room of AIIMS, Kalyani, Pin – 741245. No TA/ DA/ Accommodation will be paid for appearing in the interview.
Important Notes for the Senior Resident Posts:-
(i) No fee for SC/ST Candidates of any community.
(ii) Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification.
(iii) Applications without the prescribed fee will not be considered and summarily rejected.
(iv) AIIMS reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
(v) All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Court of Law at Kalyani.
