Delhi Home Guards Recruitment – Directorate General of Home Guards, New Delhi has published enrollment notification of Home Guards 2024. Online applications are invited for enrollment of 10285 Home Guards Volunteers for a term of 03 years which may be extended by 02 years with 15%, 7.5% and 27% reservation for SC, ST and OBC candidates respectively.
The Delhi Home Guard Bharti 2024 online registration process will start from 24th January 2024 and scheduled to be close on 13th February 2024.
Eligibility Criteria for Delhi Home Guard Vacancy 2024
(1) Citizen of India and Resident of National Capital Territory of Delhi. Proof for resident of Delhi: The candidate must possess any of the following:- i) Valid Passport, ii) Election Commission Photo I Card, iii) Current and valid ration card bearing his name and photograph. If the ration card is without photograph of candidate, it is required to be supported by another identity proof bearing photograph of applicant, iv) Valid Driving License issued by Transport Dept. GNCT Delhi, v) Duly attested passbook of Public Sector Bank Account having photograph with residential address in Delhi , vi) Certificate issued by competent/ authorized Government authority of Revenue Department, GNCT Delhi.
(2) Height: Minimum 165 cm for male and 152 cm for female.
(3) Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and Maximum 45 years. The candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.01.1979 and later than 01.01.2004. Up to 54 years for Ex-Servicemen/ Ex-CAPF Pers.
(4) Educational Qualifications: Minimum 10th + 12th Class Pass (Senior Secondary). For Ex-Servicemen / Ex-CAPF Personnel – 10th Class Pass.
(5) Physical Fitness Criteria: (i) For Male Candidates:
Up to 30 years: 1600 meters in 06 minutes.
30–40 years: 1600 meters in 07 minutes.
40–45 years: 1600 meters in 08 minutes.
Ex-Servicemen/Ex-CMPF Personnel above 45 years: 1600 meters in 10 minutes.
(ii) For Female Candidates:
Up to 30 years: 1600 meters in 08 minutes.
30–40 years: 1600 meters in 09 minutes.
40–45 years: 1600 meters in 10 minutes.
Ex-Servicemen/Ex-CMPF Personnel above 45 years: 1600 meters in 12 minutes.
Home Guard Bharti Delhi Application Fees
The application fee for the Home Guards recruitment in New Delhi is Rs 100/- per candidate, to be paid online through the designated gateway for receiving applications. This fee is non-refundable. Applicants are advised to follow detailed instructions for smooth payment processing during registration.
Delhi Home Guard Selection Process
Enrolment for Home Guards will be carried out through a two-stage process:
A) STAGE-I: Physical Measurement & Efficiency Test (PMET)
B) STAGE-II: Written Test (WT) and Award of Bonus Marks
The selection process for the recruitment of Home Guards in New Delhi involves several stages. Firstly, candidates need to qualify in the Physical Measurement and Efficiency Test (PMET) to be eligible for the subsequent written test. Selection is then made based on merit, taking into account bonus marks where applicable.
Following the written test, selected candidates are required to undergo a medical examination. Additionally, successful candidates must submit a Police Clearance Certificate, obtainable from the Delhi Police website. Eligible candidates would be required to apply online only through DGHG Official website (dghgenrollment.in) from 24th January 2024. The online application involves two Steps.
Step 1: Personal Details, Qualification details and upload relevant documents (Scanned copy of Photographs, Signatures and Left Hand THumb Impression etc.).
Step 2: Payment of Fee (If applicable) and / or Generating Registration Slip.
The candidates should apply on or before closing date 13/02/2024 up to 11:59 PM.
