Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Puducherry has released the notification of the recruitment for Senior Resident Posts on regular basis (3 years tenure). Eligible candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply before 19-06-2023 (Monday) till 04.30 PM. JIPMER is filling the 122 posts Senior Resident Posts through the CBT Examination.

122 | An NMC/MCI-recognized postgraduate medical degree of MD/MS/DNB in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute. Geriatric Medicine: An NMC/MCI recognized postgraduate Medical degree viz. MD/DNB in Geriatric Medicine / Internal Medicine or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. Nephrology / Neurology Departments: An NMC/MCI recognized postgraduate Medical degree viz. MD/DNB in General Medicine / Paediatrics or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. Neurosurgery / Plastic Surgery Departments: An NMC/MCI recognized postgraduate Medical degree viz. MS/DNB in General Surgery or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. Dental Department: A DCI-recognized postgraduate dental degree from University/Institute is required, viz. Pediatrics / Neonatology Department: Candidates who completed MD/DNB in the discipline of Paediatrics, candidate can apply to any one of the departments i.e. either Paediatrics / Neonatology. |
Age Limit and Relaxation:-
The candidates are not more than the age of 45 years of age as of 31/07/2023. Relaxable for SC & ST candidates up to five years, and for OBC candidates up to three years.
Application Fee and Mode of Payment:-
The candidates will have to deposit the undermentioned amount of fees during online application through online mode.
(i) General(UR)/ EWS/ OBC Candidates:- Rs. 1500/- plus Transaction Charges as applicable
(ii) SC/ST Candidates:- Rs. 1200/- plus transaction Charges as applicable
(iii) PWBD Candidates:- Nill (transaction Charges as applicable)

Eligible candidates can Apply Online only before 19-06-2023 (Monday) till 04.30 PM. Candidates can take a printout of the online application form.
Selection Procedure for Senior Resident:-
Selection will be made in one successive stage i.e., (i) CBT Examination. The Computer Based Test will be held on 02-07-2023 (Sunday) from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Only those candidates who will qualify for the CBT Examination will be allowed to go to the interview and verification of the original documents.
