Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has released the notification for the recruitment for the posts of Honorary Health Workers (HHW). KMC is recruiting 118 posts of Honorary Health Workers (HHW). The vacancies for the said post are permanent in nature. Eligible and interested candidates may apply online only through the official website of the Health Department of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. Interested candidates can apply from 09-02-2024 to 29-02-2024 (till midnight).

| Age Limit | The minimum age limit is 30 Years and the maximum age limit is 40 years as of 01.01.2024. In the case of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates, the lower age limit may be relaxed to 22 years. As such candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-(A/B) may apply whose age is between 22-40 years. |
| Pay Scale | The selected candidates for KMC Recruitment 2024 will be paid an honorarium of Rs.4500 per month. |
| Qualification | (i) Minimum 10th (Madhyamik) pass or equivalent examination. (ii) Candidates having higher qualifications are also eligible. However, in the case of candidates possessing higher qualifications, only marks obtained in Madhyamik (10th) or equivalent examination will be considered. For calculation of the marks obtained in the Secondary Examination (Madhyamik or equivalent), the aggregate is to be considered (excluding the marks obtained in the additional paper). |

How to Apply for Kolkata Municipal Corporation Recruitment 2024
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. All the verification will be done in due course.
Notes:-
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
- No TA/ DA will be allowed to attend the interview.
- Applications received after the due date shall not be entertained.
- Applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria or are incomplete shall be summarily rejected.
- The exact date, time, and venue for the examination/ interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates.
- Candidates will be appointed for a tenure period of 01 year from the date of joining HHW and the engagement shall be extended further based on satisfactory performance.
