North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur Railway Recruitment Cell is inviting applications from eligible candidates for Apprentice for undergoing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and Apprenticeship Rules. 1962, in the various units. Candidates can apply before 02-08-2023 (17:00 hrs).

Educational Qualification:-
Candidate must have already passed the prescribed qualification of High School/ 10th with minimum 50% marks & ITI in notified trade on the date of issue of notification. i.e. 03-07-2023.
Age Limit for Apprentice:-
For the post of Apprentices, Minimum 15 years of age and not more than 24 years of age. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Stipend for Apprentice:-
The selected candidates for the post of trainee will be paid a stipend at the prescribed rates during their training as per the applicable rules/ instructions.

The candidates applying for the posts of North Eastern Railway will have to pay Rs.100/- as a processing fee. No application fee for SC/ ST/ EWS / Divyang (PwBD)/ category and Women candidates.
Selection Procedure: NER Recruitment 2023
Selection is based entirely on a merit list based on the marks obtained by applicants in the two examinations (Matriculation and ITI). Selected candidates have to attend Document Verification.
