NHM UP Recruitment 2024 – Apply Online for 5582 CHO Posts

The National Health Mission, Uttar Pradesh (NHM UP) has announced the recruitment of Community Health Officers (CHO) for the year 2024. Uttar Pradesh National Health Mission (NHM) has invited applictaion for 5582 Community Health Officer(CHO) posts. The applictaion process commenced from January 29 and the last date for submitting the application form is February 7. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website at upnrhm.gov.in.

The UP NHM CHO Recruitment 2024 is part of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, to strengthen SubHealth Centers as Health and Wellness Centers (HWCs) for better implementation of public health programs. Selected candidates will get honorarium Rs.20,500/- plus up to Rs 15,000/- per month Performance-based incentive (PBI) at the time of posting at SC-HWC in the allocated district as a CHO subject to a guideline issued by GoI.

UP NHM Community Health Officer Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The UP NHM Recruitment 2024 Eligibility criteria for CHO positions include educational qualifications and age limit. Candidates must fulfill these criteria to be considered for the recruitment process.

Qualification: Applicants should have successfully completed either B.Sc. (Nursing) with a comprehensive curriculum that includes Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (CCHN), or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with an integrated curriculum of CCHN. These qualifications must be obtained from a recognized Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council Institute or University from the academic year 2020 onwards. To provide further clarity, candidates who have completed the 4th year of B.Sc. Nursing or the 2nd year of Post B.Sc. Nursing from 2019-20 onwards and have passed are eligible for this opportunity.

Registration: Candidates are required to be registered with the UP Nurses & Midwives Council, but those who are registered with other State Nursing Councils as Nurses and Midwives are also eligible. However, they must submit the registration certificate from the UP Nurses & Midwives Council within 90 days of provisional joining at the District, if selected.

Age Limit: 21-40 Years (as of the last date of online application submission)

Candidates should take note that the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent Certificate, containing the recorded Date of Birth, will be deemed valid for determining the candidate’s age. It is imperative to understand that the NHM, Uttar Pradesh, will not entertain any requests for changes in the date of birth after the initial submission. Moreover, it is essential to be aware that there are specific relaxations in the upper age limit for various categories.

Uttar Pradesh NHM CHO Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Selection is based on merit and percentage of marks in High School, Intermediate, B.Sc. (Nursing)/Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) Examination, and COVID experience (85 marks for academics, 15 marks for COVID experience).
Weightage of Marks for Merit: 10th (17%), 12th (17%), B.Sc./PB B.Sc. Nursing (51%).

Tie-Breaking Criteria: Higher percentage in B.Sc./PB B.Sc. Nursing, older age, alphabetical order, and higher marks in Intermediate.

Weightage of Marks for Merit (Out of 85):

For 10th: 17%
For 12th: 17%
For the aggregate of integrated CCHN B.Sc. /PB B.Sc. Nursing: 51%
