Rajasthan Public Service Commission, RPSC has invited applications for Librarian Grade II posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of RPSC at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. This recruitment drive will fill up 300 posts in the organization. The registration process will begin on February 20 and will end on March 20, 2024. | Educational Qualification | (i) Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC with a degree or diploma in Library Science recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education/ Government. (ii) Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture. |
| Pay Scale | Pay Matrix Level L-11 (Grade Pay Rs.4200/-). As per the rules of the State Government, a fixed monthly salary will be payable during the probation period. |
| Application Fee | For General (UR)/ BC/ EBC (Creamy Layer): Rs. 600/
For SC/ ST/ PwD/ BC/ EBC/ EWS (NCL)/ Divyang: Rs. 400/- The payment should be done through online mode. |
| Selection Process | The selection process comprises a written examination. The examination shall carry 400 marks, and there will be 2 papers. Each paper will carry 200 marks questions and the duration of the paper will be for 2 hours. Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of answers. For every wrong answer one third of the marks prescribed for that particular question shall be deducted. |
How to Apply RPSC Librarian Recruitment 2024
Eligible candidates who apply for Rajasthan Librarian II posts, must submit their applications online through the Rajasthan Online Application Portal (sso.rajasthan.gov.in) starting from 20th February 2024. The candidates are initially required to complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process and subsequently log in to proceed with the application. Ensure the upload of scanned copies of a recent photograph, signature, and relevant qualification documents/certificates. The deadline for online application registration is 20/03/2024, until 12:00 Hours.

- Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
- Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Incomplete or wrongly filled applications are liable to be summarily rejected.
- Application forms have to be filled only in online mode, No offline forms would be accepted.
