Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of an Assistant Professor. Eligible candidates can apply from 26-06-2023 to 25-07-2023 (Till Midnight 12:00). RPSC is filling the 1913 post of Assistant Professor through the Written Examination and Interview.

1913 | (i) Masters’s Degree with 55% marks in a concerned/ relevant/ allied subjects from an Indian University or an equivalent. (ii) Candidates must have cleared the NET Exam conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET. OR (iii) Candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree obtained from a foreign university with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking by any one of the following: (a) Quacquarelli Symonds (b) the Times Higher Education or (c) the Academic Ranking of World Universities of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University. (iv) Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture. |
Age Limit and Relaxation:-
As on January 1, 2023, the applicants shall be between the ages of 21 to 40 years. Age concessions are subject to government regulations.

The candidates would need to pay the below-mentioned fee during the online application process:-
(i) General (Unreserved)/ Creamy Layer of Most Backward /Backward Classes Candidates:- Rs.600/-
(ii) Reserved Classes (SC/ ST/ Backward Classes) Candidates:- Rs.400/-
(iii) Extremely Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer)/ Economically Weaker Section/ Sahariya Area)/ Divyangjan Candidates:- Rs.400/-

Selection Procedure for Assistant Professor:-
Candidates will take a Written Examination before being interviewed, but only those who pass the Written Examination will be chosen for interview.
