Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Delhi has released the notification for the recruitment of Constable (Carpenter, Blacksmith, Driver, Tailor, Gardner, Cobbler, Veterinary, Painter, Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Cook and Water Carrier) in Group-C on temporary basis. Eligible candidates can apply before 18-06-2023.
SSB Constable Recruitment 2023:-

543 | Driver for Male:- (i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. (ii) Must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License. Veterinary:- (i) Matriculation pass with Science as main subject from a recognized board. Carpenter, Blacksmith, Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Cook, Water Carrier, Tailor, Gardner, Cobbler and Painter:- (i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. (ii) 2 years work experience in respective trade, or (iii) One year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the respective trade, or (iv) 2 years Diploma from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade. (v) Must qualify trade test. |
Constable Recruitment Age Limit:-
Age relaxation available to different category of the eligible candidates.
(i) Driver for Male:- 21 – 27 years
(ii) Veterinary, Carpenter, Blacksmith, Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Cook, Water Carrier, Tailor, Gardner, Cobbler and Painter:- 18 – 25 years
Examination Fee and Mode of Payment:-
UR, EWS and OBC category candidates will require to pay examination fee Rs.100/- through net banking/ credit card/ debit card. However, SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman and female candidates need not pay the examination fee.
SSB Recruitment 2023 How to Apply:-
Eligible candidates are required to Apply Online only. Candidates can take the printout of the application form for future reference.
Selection Process for Constable:-
Candidates have to go for different stages of recruitment as per details given below:-
(i) Physical efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test
(ii) Written Examination
(iii) Documentation and Skill Test
(iv) Detailed Medical Examination and Review Medical Examination
SSB Constable Recruitment Notes:-
(i) No TA/ DA or other expenses will be paid to the candidates.
(ii) Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India or outside the Territory of India.
