Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Delhi has released the notification for the recruitment of Head Constable (HC) (Electrician, Mechanic, Steward, Veterinary and Communication) in Group-C on temporary basis. Eligible and interested candidates can fill the online application form before 18-06-2023.
SSB Head Constable Recruitment 2023:-

914 | Electrician:- (i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. (ii) 2 years work experience in respective trade, or (iii) One year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the respective trade, or (iv) 2 years Diploma from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade. (v) Must qualify trade test. Mechanic:- (i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. (ii) Passed the Diploma in automobile or motor mechanical engineering or two years certificate course in automobile or motor mechanical engineering from a Government recognized Industrial Training Institute or equivalent. (iii) Possess valid Driving License for Heavy Vehicles. Steward:- (i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. (ii) Should have a Diploma or certificate in Catering Kitchen management from a reputed institute. (iii) One year experience in similar job in a reputed level. Veterinary:- (i) 10+2 examination pass with Science and Biology as main subject from a recognized Board/ university, and (i) 2 years Diploma course in Veterinary and Livestock Development and Veterinary Stock Assistant Course and Animal Husbandry Course from an institution recognized by the Central or State Government. Communication:- (i) 10+2 examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board/ university, and (ii) Should have a three years diploma in electronics or communication or computer science or information technology. |
HC Recruitment Age Limit:-
Candidates can check the post wise age limit from the given below. Age relaxation available to different category of the eligible candidates.
(i) Mechanic:- 21 – 27 years
(ii) Electrician, Steward, Veterinary and Communication:- 18 – 25 years
Examination Fee and Mode of Payment:-
UR, EWS and OBC category candidates have to pay examination fee Rs.100/- through net banking/ credit card/ debit card. However, SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman and female candidates are exempted from the examination fee.
SSB Recruitment 2023 How to Apply:-
Eligible candidates are required to Apply Online only. Candidates can take the printout of the application form for future use.
Selection Process for Head Constable:-
Candidates have to go for different stages of recruitment as per details given below:-
(i) Physical efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test
(ii) Written Examination
(iii) Skill/ Trade Test
(iv) Documentation, Detailed Medical Examination and Review Medical Examination
SSB Head Constable Recruitment Notes:-
(i) No TA/ DA or other expenses will be paid to the candidates.
(ii) Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India or outside the Territory of India.
