UP Police Recruitment 2024 – Constable 60244 Posts

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) Lucknow has officially released notification to fill 60,244 Police Constable positions through direct recruitment. The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has started the recruitment process for 60244 posts of Reserve Civil Police. The online application process for recruitment will started on 27 December 2023. The last date to submit a filled application form is 16 January 2024. UP Police Constable Pay Scale is Rs 20200 + Grade Pay Rs 2000/- (Rs 21,700/- per month)

1. Unreserved – 24102
2. Scheduled Caste (SC) – 16264
3. Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 12650
4. Others – 6024

UP Police Constable 2024 Age Limit:

For Male: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 22 years as on 1st July 2023. i.e. the candidate must not have been born before July 02, 2001 and after July 01, 2005.
For Female: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years as on 1st July 2023. i.e. the candidate must not have been born before July 02, 1998 and after July 01, 2005.
Age Relaxation as per Uttar Pradesh Govt rules.

UP Police Constable 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Matriculation with 12th Class (10+2) Pass or equivalent qualification for UP Police Cosntable posts.

Preferential Qualification: Have obtained “O” level certificate in Computer from DOEACC/NIELT Society (OR) Have served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years (OR) Have obtained “B” certificate of the National Cadet corps.
