Age Limit and Relaxation in Upper Age Limit
Upper age limit for General and unreserved category candidates is 30 years as on August 31, 2023. Upper age limit relaxations applicable for reserved category candidates.
Coal India Limited Recruitment Application Fee
Candidates belonging to GENERAL (UR) / OBC (Creamy Layer & Non-Creamy Layer) / EWS category are required to pay a Non-Refundable fee of Rs.1000/- plus GST – Rs.180/- totaling Rs.1180/- (Rupees One Thousand One Hundred Eighty only). SC/ ST/ PwD candidates/ Employees of Coal India Limited and its Subsidiaries are exempted from payment of the application fee. The application fee will be paid through Online mode only is acceptable.

Selection Procedure and Place of Posting
Eligible candidates must have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) – 2023. Based on the GATE-2023 Scores/Marks and requirements, candidates will be shortlisted discipline-wise, category-wise. The exact Date, Time, and Venue for the examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
Candidates may be posted anywhere in Subsidiary companies including Coalfield areas. Only candidates willing to serve anywhere in India need apply.
