Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) has released the notification for the recruitment of a Station Controller/ Train Operator (SC/TO), Customer Relations Assistant (CRA), and other various posts on direct recruitment basis for a period of five years initially on contractual basis. Eligible candidates can apply online from 10-05-2023 and the last date of application submission is 09-06-2023.

GMRC Recruitment Age Limit and Relaxation:-
Candidates can check the post wise age limit and Upper age relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST/EWS and 3 years for SEBC / OBC candidates for reserved posts.
(i) SC/TO, CRA and Junior Engineer – 18 to 28 years
(ii) Maintainer – 18 to 25 years
How to Apply for GMRC Recruitment 2023:-
Eligible applicants should Apply Online mode through the website of GMRC recruitment website. Candidates can apply online only from 10th May 2023 to 9th June 2023 and no other mode of application will be accepted. After registering online, candidates are advised to take a print out of their system generated online application forms.
Selection Procedure for GMRC Recruitment, 2023
The selection of candidates for the recruitment of these posts shall be made on the basis of a written test and a Gujarati Language test. Candidates have to submit the examination call letter at the time of the examination.
Application Fee and Mode of Payment:-
Candidates can pay the category wise application fees through Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets/UPI.
(1) General / Unreserved (including Servicemen) – Rs. 600/-
(2) SEBC/OBC – Rs. 300/-
(3) SC/ST/EWS -Rs. 150/-
Important Notes for the GMRC Recruitment:-
(1) Candidates cannot apply for more than one post.
(2) Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn.
(3) Only candidates willing to serve anywhere in Gujarat should apply.
(4) Age relaxation to any other category will be as per the government of India’s rules.
(5) Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection/appointment shall be a disqualification.
