The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is inviting applications from eligible applicants for the recruitment of Proof Reader and Others. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of NCERT Recruitment 2024 can attend the walk-in interview on 01st February 2024.

(iii) At least 5 years experience in editing, producing-planning, and supervising publications, especially school textbooks, monographs, and reports in a responsible capacity. (iv) Knowledge of book production techniques, modern process of printing, and typography and should be proficient in English /Hindi/ Urdu. |

60 | (i) Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree either in English/ Hindi/ Urdu. (ii) At least 01-year experience of working in a Printing or Publishing organization as a copyholder/ proofreader. (iii) Working knowledge of Computer. |

50 | (i) Candidate must have a Graduation in any subject. (ii) One Year Diploma/ Certificate course in Desk Top Publishing from a recognized institute. (iii) Minimum 3 years experience in a publishing house of repute preferably in textbook making. (iv) Proficiency in In-design, Photoshop, illustrator, Equation Editor, and Microsoft Word, including Excel & Page-maker. (v) Proficiency in typing both in Hindi and English |
Age Limit For NCERT Recruitment 2024
The upper age limit according to the post is given below:-
(i) Assistant Editor: 50 Years
(ii) Proof Reader: 42 Years
(iii) DTP Operators: 45 Years

Selection Procedure For NCERT Recruitment 2024
Candidates will be selected through walk-in interviews only. There is no other mode of selection.

- The vacancies may increase or decrease.
- These positions are likely to be extended by one year.
- No TA/ DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the Interview.
- Applications received after the scheduled date, will not be considered.
