Age Limit
– Junior Assistant: Between 18 – 27 years
– Stenographer: Between 18 – 27 years

Educational Qualifications
Junior Assistant: 10th 12th pass from a recognized Board / Institution. A typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on a Computer.

Junior Stenographer (English): Minimum Matric with 12th Class Pass from a recognized board or university. Shorthand Speed is 100 words per minute, and Typing Speed is 40 words per minute.
Stenographer Grade-II: 12th pass or equivalent under the 10+2 system from a recognized Board or University. Speed of 80 words per minute (w.p.m.) in shorthand and 40 words per minute (w.p.m.) in typewriting in English (OR) Speed of 80 words per minute (w.p.m.) in shorthand and 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) in typewriting in Hindi.
LDC / LDC cum Typist: 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a Computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH / 9000 KDPH on average).
Junior Stenographer (Hindi): Senior Secondary (Matric + 12th pass) with Hindi as a subject from any recognized Board / Institute with proficiency in Hindi. Skill Test Norms: Dictation: 10 mts. @ 80 w.p.m. (Hindi), Transcription: 65 mts (on the Computer), Typewriting test in the Hindi language @ 30 w.p.m. (on the Computer).
Assistant Grade-I: Senior Secondary Pass from a recognized board or its equivalent. Should pass the typewriting in English with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute or in Hindi with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute on Computer.
